This Ramadan, they have collaborated with Madchef, a fast food restaurant, and Give Bangladesh, an initiative under Social Work Platform Trust, to arrange iftar packets for those in need.

Jhilimili is a social welfare organisation, formed by some students from Institute of Business Administration (IBA), University of Dhaka (DU), that aims to support street children in different ways. Founded in 2015, the organisation initially intended to help two children, who dropped out of school and roamed around DU.

Spreading the joy of Ramadan among underprivileged communities

Give Bangladesh, along with Prochesta Foundation, Jhilimili, Madchef, and Kamrunnesa Khatun Foundation, have set out to distribute iftar among 24,000 underpriveledged people from 64 districts this time. They are raising funds through a crowdfunding approach on their social media platforms. People can donate an iftar meal for BDT 70, thereby spreading the happiness of this holy month.

Jhilimili, a social welfare organisation, is currently conducting its latest campaign to raise funds for street children seen around the campus of the University of Dhaka. They started this campaign in June 2020 to help the marginalised and low-income people who are struggling due to the lack of work caused by the shutdown. They have named the campaign "Asun, ebar ghurey darai eksathey" (Let us make the comeback easier).
